Can you go swimming with fake tan on?
While there’s no better way to flaunt your fresh new tan than by getting by the water, self-tanners aren’t waterproof. If you’re taking a dip in chlorinated water, you may notice that your golden glow’s longevity will be reduced. This is because chlorine dries out your skin and strips the top layer of your skin (where the tan sits), causing your skin cells to shed more quickly.
However, you don’t need to give up your fave summer activity when you’ve got your glow on, you’ll just need to take a few extra precautions in order to prolong the life of your fake tan. Gently pat yourself dry and apply Glow Gradual Tanning Moisturiser each day so you’ll be able to wear fake tan while swimming and extend the life of your tan.
