Does fake tan work for people with vitiligo?Updated a year ago

Some self tanning products work for people with vitiligo, but they may not be effective for everyone. We recommend our Total Eclipse Tanning Mousse as it has the highest percentage of tanning active (DHA) and it may provide better coverage for lighter areas of the skin. 

It is important to note though, that this product will not provide the same level of coverage as makeup or other cosmetic products so it really depends on if you are after coverage or evening of your skin tones.

In general, it is recommended that people with vitiligo consult with a dermatologist or other medical professional to discuss their treatment options, including the use of fake tan products.
