Shipping Updates Due to Canada Post StrikeUpdated 3 months ago
UPDATE as at Tuesday 17th December 2024:
We want to inform you that Canada Post will resume operations starting Tuesday, December 17, 2024, following the recent decision by the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB). While this is positive news, there will still be delays as Canada Post works to clear the backlog of mail and parcels trapped in their network during the strike.
The strike’s timing and duration mean it will take some time to fully stabilise operations, and these delays may also affect other carriers. Canada Post has confirmed that certain limitations will be in place for the first 48 hours after resuming service, including restrictions on pickups and drop-offs. As such, new product pickups and deliveries are expected to resume on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
We are committed to keeping you informed with updates as more details become available regarding timelines and processing capacity. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during this time.
PREVIOUS:
As of November 15, 2024, Canada Post has gone on strike, which will have some impact on shipping from our Canadian warehouse. To ensure your orders continue to be delivered promptly, we will be primarily using these trusted carriers:
- UniUni
- UPS
- FedEx
These carriers will manage all shipments during this period, ensuring minimal disruption to your experience shopping with Luna Bronze. Due to the strike, many businesses will also be using the carriers listed above as alternatives to Canada Post, which may lead to longer delivery timeframes.
PLEASE NOTE: The above carriers are unable to deliver to PO Boxes. Please ensure you provide a physical address during checkout. Orders without a physical address can only be shipped by Canada Post and may be delayed as a result of the rotating strike action.
We’re Monitoring the Situation
We are closely following developments related to the strike and will provide updates as the situation changes. Our priority is to maintain reliable service and keep you informed every step of the way.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this challenge together.
